Who do men say that I the Son of Man am? Matthew 16:13

Salt

 
Salt: Matthew 5:13-16
 
In Matthew chapter 5:13-16, Jesus introduces us to a concept of Christian Living that should not be overlooked.  He called us two things in this passage of scripture, salt and light. Once while observing this passage of scripture I noticed something that really brought a question to mind. The Master states that if the salt has lost its seasoning where will it be salted. Apparently the master was not talking about table salt as we know it today.

In the previous article we talked about the importance of salt. Now the Master Teacher brings us closer to the issue of light. It seems to me that in the church we have majored on a behavior doctrine more than a relationship with God and others. Jesus is now giving us instructions concerning this by calling us light. Who is Christ?

 
Who is Christ Matthew 16:13-20
 
This question must be answered if we are to have a proper relationship with God.  Some see Jesus as a great prophet, which he was.  Others see him as a phenomenal leader, and I cannot take away from that. Others may talk about him as a sect leader.  No matter what one may say about him, we should all look at this word Christ.
